Active Membership is available to fully licensed professional land surveyors.  Active membership includes complimentary membership in NSPS, legislative advocacy, IPLSA voting rights, significant discounts on IPLSA conferences and products, Illinois Surveyor and Surveyor Express with the latest industry updates, and great opportunities to grow your career


Affiliate Member

Affiliate Membership is available to any person working in land surveying activities.  Affiliate membership is a great way for technicians or those who have graduated but are not yet SITs to become involved with the organization, receive discounted registration on education activities, the IPLSA conference and land surveying resources.

SIT Member

SIT Membership is open to all licensed Surveyors in Training.  SITs enjoy complimentary Associate Membership in NSPS, discounted review courses to prepare for the LS exam, opportunities to network with licensed surveyors throughout the state, discounts on IPLSA events and products - including exam review materials, and the latest in industry information.

Supporting Member


Supporting Membership is available to businesses or organizations that are actively engaged in a business or profession related to land surveying.  IPLSA supporting members receive recognition in IPLSA publications, discounts on products, and discounted exhibit space at the IPLSA Annual Conference.  

Student Member


Student members showcase their enthusiasm for the profession (and make great career connections) through IPLSA conferences and events with greatly discounted registration rates, receive price breaks on IPLSA products (including review materials) and review classes, and can keep up on all of the changes in the exam processes and licensure requirements with the Illinois Surveyor and Surveyor Express.

Sustaining Member

Sustaining membership is available to businesses and organizations that are actively engaged in surveying and has at least one active member of IPLSA.  Sustaining members receive discounts on IPLSA products and recognition of their support in IPLSA publications.
