These sections establish the legal authority of the Department of Professional Regulation to regulate the examination for, issuance of and revocation of certificates, licenses and permits to practice or engage in the profession, trades and occupations over which the department has jurisdiction. This jurisdiction includes regulatory authority over professional land surveyors.
