Regulation & Enforcement

​The Illinois Compiled Statutes and Administrative Rules for the Practice of Professional Land Surveying in the State of Illinois, published by the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association for two decades, is part of IPLSA's continuing program to provide reference material of value for use by the practicing surveyor and persons in allied fields.

The Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation is responsible for regulating licensed professionals and firms in the state. Professional Land Surveying professions licensed by the IDFPR include Land Surveyors, Surveyor Interns and Design Firms. For more information on regulation and enforcement, visit the IDFPR website.
