These sections establish the requirement that township assessors and multtownship assessor, or chief county assessment officer shall maintain and make available to the public all property record cards for public inspection.

35 ILCS 200/9-35 Through 200/9-265
These sections establish the requirements for supervisor assessments or county assessor to prepare county tax maps, establish a property index number system, obtain maps and plats necessary for assessments, obtain surveys of property if the owner does not, reassess private property after platting and make up a list of property to be assessed for townships and other taxing bodies. Sections also deal with the assessment of omitted properties.
